Warranty Policy

WARRANTY POLICY

This Warranty Policy applies to all genuine automotive batteries sold in Kenya by authorized distributors and dealers.

  1. WARRANTY COVERAGE

All Amaron automotive batteries are warranted against manufacturing defects for a period of:

Twelve (12) months from the date of purchase

This warranty covers defects in material and workmanship under normal vehicle usage conditions.

If a battery is found to be defective due to manufacturing fault within the warranty period, it shall be:
• Replaced free of charge, OR
• Repaired at the discretion of the distributor, where applicable.

  1. WARRANTY CONDITIONS

To qualify for warranty:
1. The battery must be purchased from an authorized Amaron dealer or distributor in Kenya.
2. The customer must present:
• Original purchase receipt/invoice
• Duly stamped warranty card (if applicable)
3. The battery must bear:
• Original serial number label
• No tampering or alteration
4. The battery must be returned to the point of purchase or authorized warranty center for testing.

Warranty claims are subject to technical inspection and load testing.

  1. WHAT IS COVERED

This warranty covers:

✔ Manufacturing defects
✔ Internal cell failure due to factory fault
✔ Premature failure not caused by misuse
✔ Material or workmanship defects

  1. WHAT IS NOT COVERED

This warranty does NOT cover failures resulting from:

❌ Overcharging or undercharging
❌ Faulty alternator or vehicle electrical system
❌ Improper installation
❌ Physical damage (cracks, impact damage)
❌ Exposure to fire, flooding, accident, or negligence
❌ Use in non-recommended applications
❌ Tampering with battery terminals or casing
❌ Deep discharge due to lights left on or parasitic drain
❌ Commercial misuse beyond specified application

Batteries used in taxis, ride-hailing vehicles, heavy commercial fleets, or non-automotive applications may be subject to separate commercial warranty terms.

  1. WARRANTY PROCEDURE
    1. Customer presents battery and proof of purchase.
    2. Battery undergoes diagnostic testing.
    3. If deemed defective due to manufacturing fault:
      • Replacement is issued.
    4. If failure is due to vehicle fault:
      • Warranty claim is rejected.
      • Customer advised to repair vehicle charging system.

Replacement battery does NOT extend the original warranty period.

  1. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

This warranty covers replacement of the battery only.

Amaron Kenya / Authorized Distributor shall not be liable for:
• Vehicle towing costs
• Loss of business
• Loss of profits
• Consequential or incidental damages

  1. WARRANTY VALIDITY

This warranty is valid within the Republic of Kenya only.

Only genuine Amaron batteries supplied through authorized channels qualify for warranty support.
